Biography
Diana Miller was born during the Rock and Roll era, raised during the Flower Child Hippie era, spent four years in the military towards the end of the Vietnam War era, worked and married during the Oil Crisis era, and returned to the military during the President Reagan era to finish her 20 year military career. She remembers the first home and game computers, the beginning of the Internet, and the first cell phones.
She was raised as a PK (preachers kid) and traveled all over the central and southern part of the U.S. called the Bible Belt as her father worked with several churches. While in the Navy she traveled the World seeing the Mediterranean, Far East and considered a Shellback when crossing the equator to visit Australia. After retiring from the military she has worked at shipyards and entered corporate America became a supervisor. When she retired the decision of becoming a world traveler appealed to her and she lived in Asia for three years.
Her education has been the typical grade school and high school but peppered with some college. She is still attending the University of Hard Knocks working on her degree of life.
As a child she fell in love with science fiction after reading Helen O’Loy by Lester del Rey and decided to return to her affection by becoming an Author.
Now she is shearing her experience in life as a military retiree, corporate careerist, expat, and as an author.
